Fourth Generation Honda Prelude ('92 - '96)
The fourth generation Prelude model was made between 1992 and 1996. The United State Domestic Motor (USDM) fourth generation Prelude come in three different models. Here are some of the key points for the fifth generation Prelude:
- The base "S" model comes with a 2.2 liter SOHC (Single Over Head Cam) F22A1 engine @ 135 horsepower (This is the same engine on the '94 to '97 Honda Accord)
- The "Si" model comes with a 2.3 liter DOHC (Dual Over Head Cam) H23A1 engine @ 160 horsepower
- The "VTEC" model is the most powerful of all three model. It comes with a 2.2 liter DOHC (Dual Over Head Cam) H22a1 engine @ 190 horsepower
- On the earlier "Si" model they also offer 4 wheel drive system
- 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual
